Front End Developer (Temporary)

About Our Agency

Bespoke is focused on helping people make sense of digital so they can build great businesses, great careers and great lives.

We work as a team to recommend and implement digital strategies, systems and websites that have transformative effects for the clients we work with.

One of our philosophies is that we should be face-to-face with clients to really understand them and deliver for them. So we tend to get to know clients deeply and closely.

As a team, we’re excited about being able to play a part in the digital revolution. We feel fortunate to be part of it and we’re hungry to build the best skills and understanding we possibly can.

We treat each other like a family. We each help teammates deliver great work and we bring an attitude where we want to make every day a great day for each other, and for our clients.

About Our Team

Our team is 15-strong and around half are involved in delivering web projects for our clients (the other half are involved in promoting and optimising to generate leads for clients).

We have a 20-year track record in this area so have well-established methods and processes and we are better than most at delivering projects to a high standard and on time.

Purpose Of This Role

The Front End Developer role is important because the speed and quality of the user interfaces we build dictates how well our client's websites perform, which leads them to renew with us.

Your colleagues will be grateful to have a colleague who is flexible, skilled, supportive and willing to help plan, build and maintain truly great websites and web applications for our clients.

Clients will be grateful for your attention to detail, and for delivery to spec and on time, and of course for dealing with any amendments or bugs swiftly and with great communication.

The Ideal Candidate

“I take pride in building interfaces that feel high-end, that are fast and slick, with nice touches where I'm able to implement them to give a premium feel.

“I get satisfaction from ending the day with my to-do list done and I am happy to be flexible with my time to help colleagues where needed, as I know they will help me when I need them.

“I want to work in an agency where I get to meet the clients face-to-face and really understand what they want from the website or web application I am working on.

“I understand I’ll be in high demand sometimes, and lower demand at other times. I just want to be as valuable as I can be to my teammates, to the agency, and to the clients I deliver work for.”
