The Client

Boxed Up are the sister company of Belmont Packaging, who are relatively unique in the industry, in that they’re a predominantly female-led manufacturing company.

Specialising in corrugated cardboard boxes, Boxed Up supply stock items to smaller businesses, such as online retailers trading on Amazon and eBay.

The Challenge

Originally tasked to optimise a limited legacy site, Boxed Up’s hand was forced somewhat when a member of staff accidentally turned off the site!

Whilst this presented the opportunity to build a brand new site from scratch, the effect of being offline meant that performance suffered severely, with traffic down by 25% YOY.

The Brief

With the main priorities of rebuilding the website and recovering traffic, the build and ongoing optimisation work needed to achieve an online sales target of £40K per month.

The architecture of the previous site had been difficult to navigate, so it was vitally important that the customer journey was significantly improved too.
