Idex Sealing Solutions are a division of the Idex Corporation, specialising in rubber parts for the oil and gas, food and pharmaceutical, and technology industries.
Within the division are three separate companies; Idex PPE who specialise in premium, high-precision materials in low quantities, Idex Novotema who manufacture generic components in high volume, and Idex FTL who engineer custom solutions for unique customers.
Having recently acquired the Italian-based Novotema, it was clear that all three websites required a drastic upgrade, due to being both outdated and ineffective. The number of leads, and in particular, the quality of those leads needed to be improved.
As well as achieving these goals, each website was to maintain its own brand identity, whilst in keeping with the wider Idex family.
As well as a slick, modern and functional design, the websites needed to increase traffic, with appropriate goals set for each site.
As an established website, specific goals for FTL included the achievement of 30 ‘golden leads’ per month and a 30% increase in traffic, to contribute towards a turnover target of £8.95m.
As a brand new website, Novotema’s objectives were more modest but equally as ambitious, with a turnover target of £1.1m and a traffic goal of 3,000 unique site visits per month.

Following go live, Novotema’s website traffic has continued to increase month-on-month, with the monthly target of 3,000 unique visits smashed in less than five months. FTL’s traffic also increased by 25% YOY, with a 100% increase in leads MOM.
