Boost is Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub.
It provides funded support for businesses looking to grow, scale, and start.
Businesses in the county use the Boost website to search for support programmes and events and to contact its Business Support Helpdesk.
The website is a celebratory platform, showcasing best practice and inspiring businesses to think differently.
It has a simple call-to-action to start a #growthconversation.
Boost had an existing website that was ready for renewal.
The organisation wanted to make better use of photography on the new website and present stories of successful support interventions more prominently.
As well as the redesign and rebuild, over 2,000 pages needed to be migrated and relaunched on the new website without negatively impacting Google rankings.
The website's function is to help Lancashire businesses start conversations with the growth hub. In the first 6 months after launch, the website, and social campaigns we managed generated hundreds of enquiries.
We delivered this website project for Freshfield, which runs the current PR and marketing contract for Boost. Freshfield provided strategic support and content, while Bespoke managed the website design, build, and launch.

“Bespoke ran strategy workshops that helped our team reflect on our core offer and messaging for Lancashire businesses.
“The workshop outcomes were then incorporated into designs which were passed to us for review, comment, and amendments.
“Once all designs were signed off, Bespoke got to work with the build, and soon after, the new site was demonstrated to us in a face-to-face presentation.
“Our communications partner Freshfield provided content for the website. Freshfield and Bespoke had clearly built a close working relationship.
“We now have a website that does everything we wanted and that generates enquiries every day. This was a well-managed process all round, and the finished product is just what was needed.”

“Their assistance helped us understand the value of coaching and mentoring, and subsequently, we have invested heavily in these.

“Post-launch, we have introduced Boost to paid social advertising, generating many enquiries from a series of campaigns that promote their business support programmes.”
