Selling My Business is a digital brand within the long established Begbies Traynor Group.

Its purpose is broader than the name suggests - the company also helps people buy businesses.

It’s a long established and highly trusted business that is ready to move into the digital age.

The challenge was different to many projects in that this was a new brand and new trading name.

This meant there was no domain authority or legacy traffic to build on.

It was also in a congested market where there was lots of competition for online leads.

The solution

We ran a successful project together which included:

  • A strategy workshop to build a strong mutual understanding of the brand.
  • A design sprint workshop to work through how the design approach translates to web pages.
  • A managed design process with sign off of each section of the new website in turn.
  • A new enterprise-level website and CMS with a lifespan of 3+ years.
  • Lead magnets provide opportunities for prospects to signal interest without enquiring.
  • Ongoing support post-launch to make sure the website is performing as expected.

The new Selling My Business website went live at www.sellingmybusiness.co.uk in 2020.
